unreadable error message

After updating to 2.1.1 I get a small error window that is too small to show the text. The only thing that I can do is to click at the red button at the upper right which starts a larger window which asks whether I want to cancel the OOo/LibO integration. Of course, I don't want - and I am back again with the small, unreadable error window.

Any ideas ?

    A manual install via Prefrences > cite helped me to finally install the new version .

    But the unreadable error windows remains odd.
