DIN 1505 Conform Citation, Automatically Verify Zotero Library (Item Fields) Correctness
Dear all,
I had to update both my Zotero -> bibtex converter and the .bst style (alphadin.bst) to receive a DIN 1505-2 conform list of literature due to the number of problems with zotero bibtex export already reported in this forum. My zotero db consists of more than 300 items so that manual verification of the result (correctness of the citation form e. g. via searching item by item in bibsonomy, selecting the DIN 1505 citation format and comparing the output with my citations in latex) would be very labour intensive.
Now the question: I there any way to automatically verify the correctness (with regards to the bibliography style) for my literature list? E. g. by importing my zotero DB into any tool, which automatically verifies the correctness of the entries in my zotero library looking up in any kind of lit database. In the next step then by generating a new list of literature based on the DB updated by the tool. Also any solution proposals for the partial tasks would be highly appreciated:
1) Automatically verify that the data fields for more than 300 lit items in my zotero library have correct values (publication types, journal names, author/editor fields etc.)
2) Generate a definitely DIN1505 conform list of literature from the (updated) database. (My first spot checks showed that many items are displayed differently depending on the lit repository/tool used, although all tools claim to be DIN 1505 compliant).
Thanks in advance
Iwanai

It's hard to tell what type of problems you're concerned with since you don't cite any examples, but people manually check that their data is in order for much larger databases than 300.
In English, JSTOR for articles, Library of Congress for books -
in German I would figure the Nationalbibliothek?
Din 1505 is not very widely used in any context I know - including German academia - I've never seen an option to auto-display in 1505 on any database page - though, again, I'm sure some German databases might, given that it's a German norm...
