Neooffice integration problem with 2.1.1 and 3.5a1

I just upgraded to Zotero 2.1.1 and installed the latest Neooffice word plugin 3.5a1 but I get an error message when I try to insert a citation.

Specifically the Zotero Integration Error is:

"Zotero 2.1.1 requires Zotero MacWord Integration 3.1a0 or later. Please download the latest version of Zotero MacWord Integration from zotero.org."

I get this error even though I have the latest plugin for Openoffice. It is also strange that it refers to MacWord.

I have tried several times to reinstall and removed the plugin from Neooffice but nothing works. I also tried to downgrade to an earlier plugin and that did not work either.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have not been using MacWord and it did not occur to me that I should update the MacWord plugin (even though that is what the message said) in order for the Neooffice plugin to work.

Using NeoOffice and Zotero 2.1.1 (latest plugin 3.5a1.r8615). No issues here – if anything the latest plug-in feels more responsive and snappier.

I am running Firefox 3.6, NeoOffice 3.1.2, and OS X 10.4. Zotero was working just fine with Firefox and NeoOffice until this week. The icons to insert citation, etc. in NeoOffice simply stopped doing anything. They were there, but if I click them nothing happens.
I tried updating everything, uninstalling/reinstalling, etc. Still, nothing. It seems there is no communication between NeoOffice and Firefox/Zotero. Any help or suggestions?

gailbrecht, what version of Zotero are you running? What version of Zotero OpenOffice.org Integration? Can you create a report ID?

I am running all the latest software.
FF 3.6
NeoOffice 3.1.2
Zotero 2.1.1
Zotero OpenOffice Integration 3.5a1

I have never gotten an error message from Zotero or Firefox. The plugins install fine, update fine, etc. The icons in NeoOffice simply don't do anything. (They used to, I believe it is probably after the latest update they ceased working. But I can't pinpoint it because I didn't notice it at the time of the update, only later.)

I tried to manually install the file: Zotero_OpenOffice_Integration.oxt in NeoOffice (because of what I read on some forums.) through NeoOffice Extension Mangager.
I got an error that said that a certain directory and this file "didn't exist.
So, I copied and pasted this file into the directory where NeoO was looking for it.
I got a different error that said:
(com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException) { { Message = "com.sun.star.deployment.DeploymentException: an error occured during file opening", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @ 18efba20 } }

Did you remove the extension before you tried to install it again?

I've tried tried it both ways with the Zotero extensions.
First I did an uninstall and then downloaded and installed it again.
When that didn't work I tried a "reinstall" from the add-ons window of Firefox.
