Syncing and Website library errors

The sync and api servers are temporarily inaccessible. This is resulting in Sync errors and website libraries that appear to be empty. Please be patient while the issue is resolved.

  • There was a 14-minute outage early this morning (EDT) at the datacenter hosting (which is separate from the Zotero sync servers), which set off a cascade of other problems, including, a number of hours later, a routing problem among the sync servers that caused the sync and online library errors. The initial outage was beyond our control—due to emergency hardware maintenance by our upstream provider—but we're taking steps to ensure that the other problems don't happen again.
