French Date Bug in 2.1 RC2

Sorry I dont speak English ...

There is a problem with dates in French: it recognizes more months
(Janvier, Février, Mars, Avril ... in French) while yes in English or German.

    J’utilise zotero pour mes documents archivistiques que je rentre comme « manuscrit ». Dans le champ « date », je mets la date du document : 13 juin 1793, 25 septembre 1793, 3 janvier 1793…
    Avant zotero reconnaissait les mois en lettre (janvier, février, mars, avril…) et mettait les documents dans le bon ordre. Maintenant, il ne reconnaît plus les mois en lettre. Il reconnaît seulement les jours et les années. Pour que ça fonctionne, je dois mettre la date en chiffre : 04/11/1793, 09/12/1793…
    Par contre, j’ai remarqué que ça marche toujours si je mets les mois en Anglais ou en Allemand.

    Do you have Zotero set to the French locale?

    The bibliography locale may also affect this currently (though it shouldn't).

    If it's recognizing German, I'm guessing you have one of those preferences set to German.

    J'ai bien mis en fr-FR. Mais il y a toujours le problème pour certains mois (pas tous ! )

    ex:
    12 janvier 1793= ok, il met à côté " A M J "
    12 février 1793= pas bon, il met " A J "
    12 mars 1793= ok " A M J "
    12 avril 1793= pas bon, il met " A J "
    12 mai 1793= pas bon, il met " A J "
    12 juin 1793= pas bon, il met " A J "
    12 juillet 1793= pas bon, il met " A J "
    12 août 1793= pas bon, il met " A J "
    12 septembre 1793= ok " A M J "
    12 octobre 1793= ok " A M J "
    12 novembre 1793= ok " A M J "

    The ones you're saying are OK aren't really OK. They just happen to begin with the same letters as English abbreviations.

    You're sure that extensions.zotero.export.bibliographyLocale is set to fr-FR (or it's empty and general.useragent.locale is set to fr-FR, such that the Zotero interface is in French)?

    And note that you have to restart Firefox after changing the locale settings.

    J'ai redémarré 2 fois Firefox. Mais ça ne marche toujours pas.
    (Désolé d'être porteur de mauvaise nouvelles...)

    I can confirm this bug for février, avril, mai, juin, juillet, août, décembre.

    Win7, FF 3.6.13, Z2.1rc2 (locale: fr-FR)

    Bonjour,
    Il y a toujours le même problème dans la version finale...

    Il y a un autre problème : Pour l'option "joindre une capture de la page courante" ou "joindre un lien vers la page courante". Avec le nouveau système d'onglet, la page courante devient la page de Zotero et on ne peut plus joindre une page Internet qui est dans un autre onglet...

    Sorry, this one slipped by us. It's fixed now, and the fix will be available in Zotero 2.1.1.

    Bonjour, il y a de nouveau le même problème avec les mois pour la reconnaissance des dates dans la version 3.0.3 autonome.

    Indeed, exactly the same issue with Zotero standalone 3.0.3.
    [And extensions.zotero.export.bibliographyLocale is empty and general.useragent.locale is set to fr-FR]

    Yes, non-English month parsing doesn't work in Standalone currently.

    Issue created to track it.

    there was no reply because there's nothing to say - the ticket/issue linked to above is still open --> it's a known issue that isn't resolved yet, if you're interested in the technical discussion you can read up on it on that ticket.
