that's not enough information to even get a sense of what happened. What did you do with the pdf? What OS? Which Zotero version? What does "shutdown" mean?
Sorry Adam - I'm new to this. I hoped that you'd get enough info from the error report.
I had the pdf saved in a regular folder and tried to drag it to a zotero reference in the database, within firefox. I've done this 100s of times with no problem
I have windows 7 operating system, and zotero and firefox are up to date.
The zotero window went blank with a little message in the middle saying that an error had occurred and to restart firefox. I clicked the link to report the error and got the number in this message title.
