University library says Zotero interferes with article database access (3/1/11)

While trying to troubleshoot my access problems to my university library's database portal to get to Web of Science and BIOSIS, the librarian and IT person said that "sometimes Zotero interferes with accessing our resources successfully". The only way for me to access Web of Science or BIOSIS is by using IE or by disabling zotero in Firefox (which negates the whole point).

Is this something that I just have to live with? Are there known errors in the way the universities set up its database portal that I can influence them to change?

More detail: I am currently unable to use my university library's database portal to access Web of Science and Biosis (both ISI). I can access Agricola and CAB abstracts. It gives a weird EBSCO-looking error page when trying to access WoS, which is ISI, not EBSCO; I don't know if this link works for you, but it is http://ntserver1.wsulibs.wsu.edu:2089/views/static/html/Error.htm?aspxerrorpath=/WOS. Also, to clarify, I am able to save bibliographic info from the library catalog itself.

I am sorry if this is addressed elsewhere, but I searched and couldn't find anything.
