Word 2008 (mac) : no toolbar

Hi,

I use word 2008 (in french), zotero 2.0.9, plugin word integration 3.0b7. I installed PythonExt.
The toolbar doesn't appear in word (I know it's supposed to be in the Applescript menu).

I searched for a file named zotero.dot, couldn't find it.
When I click on "reinstall word component", a Finder window is opened, asking me to select the script, that I can't find of course.
I tried to reinstall after creating a folder ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Word Script Menu Items but still nothing there.

Any idea of what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Fred
  • Delete the directory you created and click "Reinstall Word Components" again, but look for a folder named Microsoft User Data translated into French, and then find the Word Script Menu Items folder within it.
  • I created this directory because I couldn't find the script in the folder named "Microsoft user data" in French. It's where I looked in the first place, any idea of why it's not there?
  • Open Word and select "About This Menu..." (or maybe the French equivalent) under the script menu. Click the "Open Folder" button. The folder that opens should be the one to select.
  • I did what you said and the folder that opened is the one in which zotero script should be ("microsoft user data" in french/word script menu items), I get that, but there's no zotero file there, that's my problem...
  • So click Reinstall Word Components again. It'll either install Zotero.dot to a nearby directory or let you choose that directory.
