Upgrade StorageLink to persistent-identifier (like URN, DOI or PMID) from Reference in Wordprocessor
It would be a nice feature beeing able to link the Reference in the Word-Processor to a persistent identifier of the document (in case one is provided) like the URN or DOI. As i.e. OpenOffice exoprts links to PDF-Documents the reader could click from the footnote/endnote mark via a link to the reference and from the reference directly to the official homepage of the item/article via the persistant identifier.
This feature so far is to my knowledge only available to sophisticated users of TeX.
