Converting Open document to MS document

I wan't to convert a open office document to a ms document but when I save the odt as a docx all the references are lost. Is there a way to do this painless?

    in document settings (the rightmost button in the plugin), select bookmarks.
    If you can't do that, convert to an author-date style, then select bookmarks, save as a .docx, and change the style back in Word.
