Something is being oversmart and prevents me saving to Zotero

Hi dear Zotero-fellows, I need some help.

I start with a link to

http://dx.doi.org/doi:10.1046/j.1365-2125.1999.00094.x

but Firefox translates this to

http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com.ludwig.lub.lu.se/doi/10.1046/j.1365-2125.1999.00094.x/abstract;jsessionid=65BBEDDF86856CE3A04FB1611F7A32BA.d01t03

This unfortunately prevents me from saving the article to Zotero. What is happening? What can I do? Is this a bug that the translated link can't be saved to Zotero, or?
  • Two things are going on: dx.doi.org is redirecting you to Wiley, and Zotero is redirecting your Wiley link through your library proxy. For more info on the latter, see here. If you want to disable proxy support, uncheck the box and remove the proxies in the "Proxies" pane of the Zotero preferences.
  • Thanks Simon, disabling the proxy support solved the problem of saving a reference to the article to Zotero. (I looked for such an option but forgot to look in Zotero settings.)

(Though that makes downloading a bit more complicated. I now use Opera for downloading.)
