Problem with collapse in Multi Citations
Hello all,
I'm in these and I'm very interesting by Zotero.
I find a style witch is nearly what I want and I try to modify it.
The style is American Society of Civil Engineers
https://gist.github.com/822253
I have do little modification like number before "et al" or type of disambiguate to have only disambiguate on the date or prefix and suffix citation.
Here you find the new style with my modifications
https://gist.github.com/822259
Now my problem.
When I use the new style or the original style, I have a problem with the collapse citation when there are same first author
This is the results obtain in "zotero reference test pane" with my modification
Click here to see the picture
I search to have a colappse like
Al-Assaf et al 2005 a,b
or
Elmanan et al 2008 a-c
I know it's possible, because some style could do that but I don't see what i must change to obtaint this and not an error message.
Could you help me please.
I'm sorry for my bad english ....
Thanks a lot
logan

In either case, it's recommended that you validate your style, as this helps you catch these kind of errors: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/creating_citation_styles#validation
thanks for your answer
how do you know it's in CSL 0.8.1 and not in CSL 1.0???
A the begining it's noted
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
it's not for CSL 1.0?
