Footnotes carrying onto new pages

Hi all,

My Zotero footnotes in OpenOffice are carrying onto a new page, but only in some cases. I have attached an image which shows this issue. As can be clearly seen, the end of a citation from a previous page has carried over. Any ideas what can be causing this?

    open office controls the footnotes, not Zotero.
    Footnotes are always a little problematic, but my guess would be that if you have a lot of Footnotes on one page, they carry over. The default is 25% - the setting for that is in Format-->Page---> Footnote tab
