unusual characters in file names

I saved a file with the character í in it. This was saved as a i' in the file name within the zotero folder. Zotero could not then find the file and returned an error message.

I got around this by changing the nam eof the file.

Can these characters be recognised correctly and used in filenames? If not, can they be treated coherently throughout so that the files can still be found.

    We'll need to know your OS, where the file is from, and how you got it into Zotero.
