Failure to install OO extension
Ubuntu 10.04, up to date. OO3.2, FF 3.6.13 Zotero 2.1beta4 and integrator 3.1beta1
I had a variety of novel problems today with Zotero - looked like FF and OO were not talking, but no explicit errors... - I suspected that I had not installed the most recent OO extension. so, I installed:
http://www.zotero.org/download/integration/Zotero-OpenOffice-Plugin-3.1b1.xpi
This seems to have taken on the FF side of things. But within OO there is no evidence of the OP Extension (as determined by the manager!). I attempted a re-install by installing the xpi directly from firefox. (I infer that Firefox somehow takes care of installing it into OO extensions) When that failed, I dropped the extension, in the hope that a re-run of the 3.1beta1 from wihtin Firefox would fix things up. No joy. No OO Zotero extension.
I now no longer have a Zotero Extension within OO. Several attempts to generate this have failed.
Suggestions?
