Upgrade StorageAPI for use by Bookends/Endnote/etc?
I'd really love to have the option of interacting with my Zotero.org library from within Bookends (or any other legacy commercial reference manager), treating it like just another OPAC I can import from.
It seems like it ought to be easy enough to set up a Bookends import filter that points to my Zotero.org library, but I'm not sure how hard it would be to make Zotero.org output Z39.50 or SRU. (Bookends also supports arXiv OpenSearch and Web of Science query formats, but I know nothing about those since I'm in the humanities.)

obviously this is more complicated than just a library catalog because as opposed to an OPAC, data security is an issue. But as you can see there (and in other places
