Ubuntu 10.10 - OOo from official site - Sun java BUT NO ZOTERO !!
Hi everyone here,
I post here because I'm a bit desappointed (and a bit fade up, I must confess) with zotero.
First of all, here is my configuration :
Ubuntu 10.10 with kde desktop
Sun Java JRE and Plugin :
sudo update-alternatives --config java
Il existe 2 choix pour l'alternative java (qui fournit /usr/bin/java).
Sélection Chemin Priorité État
------------------------------------------------------------
0 /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/bin/java 1061 mode automatique
1 /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/bin/java 1061 mode manuel
* 2 /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/bin/java 63 mode manuel
Firefox 3.6.13
Last stable version of Zotero (but also tested with the beta one)
Openoffice installed from official website packages (because of a wrong integration in the ubuntu packages as also refered in a post on this forum)
I've thinking about different solutions, but nothing works :
http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/12869/cant-install-openoffice-components-on-linux/
http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/14575/openoffice-doesnt-comunicate-with-firefox-ubuntu-1010
So I post again to know if someone has found another workaround to use zotero on ubuntu ??
Thanks in advance for any help :)

1. disabling app-armor and
2. completely de-installing jdk?
