Portable zotero solution and relative data path

I have a windows environment and i installed a portable firefox (3.6.13) and Zotero (2.0.9) in it on an usb stick. Is it possible to set the zotero data directory to a relative path on this USB stick? I tried something inside about:config set the directory instead of “E:\zotero” to only “\zotero” or “%nameofstick%\zotero” but it did not work. Is there a solution except the default directory?
