Issue with drag-to-tag-feature in FF4b8

Noticed the last two days that I can no longer drop a freshly created item onto an existing tag. (Tag can still be added ok manually via tag-tab in righthand panel.) The tag used to be 'responsive' earlier when an item was dragged over it; this currently doesn't happen.
I'm on OSX (10.6.5) and the lastest beta of FF4; changing general.useragent.locale to en-US has made no difference. Not a big thing, but miss this elegant function.
