you can reply to your own posts if you go over the space limit- creating two posts on one topic just makes things really hard to track on the forum.
Also, better, to post the code of whole styles as public gists on gist.github.com - that maintains indentation and makes them easier to read and, if necessary, install.

May I suggest that your advice about posting (space limit, creating two posts) and using 'gist' is added to the documentation?

A secondary heading within 'getting help', section 5. A short sentence about posting rules and then a new page 'how to post to the forum(s)' with sections about each part of the forum, post rules, etc.
