Report 1582225166 snow leopard + Office2011 + 2.0.9/3.0b7 not happy
Trying to install zotero 2.0.9 & mac integration plugin 3.0b7 on snow leopard (all patches) with Office 2011 (14.0.2) for Firefox 3.6.13 is giving fits. Python and Zotero install cleanly, but the Word integration plugin give an error: "Error updating Zotero translators and styles." Then another error window pops up, mostly off the screen: "Warning: Unresponsive script. A script on this page may be busy (yada yada) Script: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/db.js:147
Hey, what's that? I'm not running chrome, I'm running Firefox!
Next, I try Tools->Add Ons->Extensions->MacWord Integration->Preferences->Reinstall Word Components, and I get different errors each time. "No such file or directory:..../._Edit Citation\\coe.scpt", then I try again and get the same error but for .../._Add Bibliography\\cob.scpt, then I try again and finally a successful installation.
I maintain this for a research lab of about 150 people, so this is a significant problem.
Oh, because there are '._*' files involved, I should mention that this is on an NFS home directory.
Thanks!
