Hi,
I'm David and I'm a ph.D. Student of Padova (Italy) University. I usually use zotero and I have recommended it to all my research team, but I've noticed that sometimes it doesn't works with many computer with scholar and ovid. Now I'm using the faculty PC and it produce this error.
11980992
Can someone help me?
Thanks,
David
  • Dan: Can you post the relevant portion of David's error report?
  • DOI Translator: could not find DOI
  • David: First of all, see this thread on Ovid (http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/13953) -- we don't currently support it, and it might not happen for a while yet. Still, it should still work to save a DOI if there is one on the page. Can you post the DOI here so I can look into why it can't save?
  • hi guys,
I was logged as Univeristy of Padova and I was searching for geometry and education on Ovid in the keywords (so I had multiple doi [33 entries]).
Now I've tried again and, surprisingly, zotero works!
So thank you for your help.
    Best,
    David
  • If you isolate a DOI that gives an error, let us know. Otherwise, glad to hear that this is working for you.
  • Hi,
if you are interested in below you can find the doi in the page, unfortunately I'm not able to isolate the doi that generate the error.

  • It looks like the culprit is SpringerLink -- their DOI 10.1023/A:1009841817245 resolves correctly, but Zotero can't import the data they have put in the CrossRef database because they omitted an article title.

I encourage you to report this missing data to Springer.
