Gale Databases

Smooth interface with Gale databases has not improved since a posting 1 year ago, even with version 1.00.

As the number of Gale databases continues to grow & infiltrate the market, it is becoming more important for products like Zotero to accommodate such interfaces.

Our library now provides access to about 20 different Gale databases, but Zotero still does not easily interface with their system. I would like to promote Zotero to freshmen & sophomores, but because they are the heaviest users of our Gale databases, I am holding off.

Any solutions are appreciated.

Has anything been done to make Gale Databases accessible yet? Is the problem with my college library or with the databases themselves? Any help would be appreciated!

As far as I can tell, each Gale database requires that someone write a different translator. That's probably the reason for the delay.
