Advanced sentence case for transform text

As noted there and elsewhere, it would be great if there were a third "transform text" option, ie., 'advanced sentence case'. Ideally, this would leave proper nouns capitalized, as well as the first word of a title (or other), and also the first letter following a colon or semi-colon.

Any update on this? There's been some discussion of this in the forums (i.e., here). According to the ticket, the milestone for this was previously version 2.0 beta 3. That's been deleted. Just wondering if it will eventually be done... Thanks

    my sense is that this is nowhere in sight. Good sentence case conversion is just ridiculously hard and essentially impossible once you go multilingual.
    What has been promised - and should be very easy to do - is to include an option for simple sentence case conversion in the right-click menu for the title field - either as a third option or replacing the lowercase field, which no one really needs.
