where have the right hand window tobs gone?

I am new to this, but can't fathom how to get them back - the ones which should say
Info - notes - attachments - tags - related

    I have the same problem. The documentation always says they are there, so I assume they should be there automatically. Anybody know a solution? Version 1.0.1 by the way.
