Crashes Firefox on pdf drag and drop

Occasionally (I can't consistently reproduce) dragging a pdf file from a Finder window into a Zotero reference will cause Firefox to crash (I get beach ball of death, Firefox is non-responsive, though it's CPU usage is nominal; I have to force quit it).

Mac OS 10.6.5, Firefox 3.6.12, Zotero 2.0.9
