Style Request: Environmental Conservation
Hi,
I’d like to make a style request for the journal Environmental Conservation. It is very similar to EMBO journal style in the Zotero style repository. The differences are listed below.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Differences from EMBO journal
Citations:
1) 'et al.' should be italicized
2) For numerous citations a semicolon goes between each author’s name. Eg. (Bloggs, 1976; Smith 1982; Smith & Bloggs 1982)
Bibliography:
General:
1) Comma after last name
2) Fullstop after initial
3) comma between authors names. Eg. Hartman,P., Bezos,J.P., Kaphan,S. & Speigel, J.
For Journals:
1) no abbreviations of journal names
For webpages:
1) [WWW document] URL www.nrlssc.html -instead of- available at: www.nrlssc.html [accessed October 4 2008] Eg. Beckleheimer, J. (1994) How do you cite URLs in a bibliography? [WWW document]. URL
http://www.nrlssc.navy.mil/meta/bibliography.html
For chapters/sections in books:
1) Colon after In.
2) ed. or eds. Immediately after book title followed by editors names
More info can be found at: http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayMoreInfo?jid=ENC&type=ifc where you can download the instructions which include reference and citation instructions on page 2-3.

I am also looking for 'ecology and society' style.
thanks for your help
Any news about when this might get done. Will it still be a long time? Is there any other way I can try to go about getting it done.
Thanks
If you or someone else who needs the style makes a start at it, people on the forums will be glad to answer your questions and make it happen. It's just that adamsmith is the only person who regularly takes on new style requests, and he's a volunteer with only so much time. Troubleshooting and support is usually fairly abundant here, and if you try to do it yourself, you'll end up with a brand new skill-- style creation!
