Changing style: Translation of "et al.", capitalize author name

Hi.
I am adapting "Oryx"-Style to a style fitting my requirements. Two questions:

1) Unfortunately in the "Oryx"-Style "et al." is being translated to the German "u.a." automatically. How can I prevent this?
2) How can I capitalize the author name in a citation without capitalizing "et al.", too?

    1) solved via http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/13439/ua-instead-of-et-al/
    2) not solved yet
  • (2) is covered by CSL 1.0, supported in Zotero 2.1. This is not possible in Zotero 2.0/CSL 0.8.
  • I have v. 2.0.9. How can I update to Zotero 2.1? I could not find a "check for updates" button or the like..

And then again: "How can I capitalize the author name in a citation without capitalizing "et al.", too?"
  • Re "then again" query: please refer to the link in my post above.
  • Zotero 2.1 is still in beta - you can upgrade by following the link on the homepage, but do take the warnings seriously.
