Edit citation

Hi,
I'm a scholar in psychology, so i use the APA style. There is usually two ways of citing:
a) Zotero is nice (Author, 2010).
b) As said by Author (2010) Zotero is nice
The problem is that, as specified in the "show editor" :"Warning: If you edit a citation in the editor it will no longer update to reflect changes in your database or citation style". This is a real handicap. It means that i have to keep the (a) citation kind until the last moment and when i send it to co-author they find it weird... It's really not practical.
I don't know how difficult it is to remove that but, one easier solution might be to have a menu with at least the two usal way of citing (a) and (b). So that i can choose one or the other when i introduce my citation in Word and still keep a normal link with my database.
Please forgive me (and tell me) if there is already a way to do that . If not it would be a crucial feature for next versions.
Thanks and great job!!
JB
