Editing citations and bibliography
The ability to edit inserted citations and bibliography entries is superb.
Would it be possible to set this up to apply formatting changes such as the insertion or removal of quote marks or commas; changes in the position of brackets around names/dates and so on, to all citations or bibliography entries of the same type?
This would enable those who can't yet use CSL to achieve some of the idiosyncratic publisher's formats.

I've suggested to my colleague that one workaround is when you''re done with your manuscript to flatten the fields, and do search-and-replaces on the stuff you need to change. I know, it's not ideal.
