Adding references online

Hi!

I am a newbie in Zotero and was wondering whether it would be possible to add references to Zotero online without using the plugin, or whether it is compulsory to have the plugin installed (in many computers the user doesn't have administrator rights to install plugins and it would be handy to be able to add those references on the go and these synchronized later).
