What to do when Zotero can not retrieve metadata
I've just started using Zotero with a few colleagues to share literature. We are essentially just importing our pdfs from our local machine into a group shared directory. For many of these articles, however, Zotero can not grab the metadata from google scholar.
In my free time I've been manually creating entries for these documents, and then attaching the pdfs as child attachments. This, however, is very time consuming. Is there any slick way of doing this work without having to manually create new entries for pdfs in which the meta data is not found?
