zotero word 2008 mac

I can't integrate zotero into Word 2008 for MAC. I have gone through all the suggestions on the Zotero support pages. I do not see any evidence of Zotero in word. My understanding is that there will not be a tool bar but that I can use it anyway by clicking on the icon to the right of help in the menu at the top of the computer screen. Still no luck..Can someone help me

Do you see a Zotero subfolder in the script menu? What do you see?

Please excuse this new user to Zotero. I feel very silly. I overlooked the second step in the installation instructions. Zotero is working beautifully in Word and I was able to complete my project and its bibliography that was due yesterday.

However, I am having a problem syncing with my home computer. I will send another question regarding that in a separate thread

Just wanted to say thanks Dan! I installed everything, but there was no Zotero in the Applescripts menu. Then followed the "zotero toolbar doesn't appear" and the reinstall step #4 fixed the issue. Thanks again.
