OpenOffice integration broken after update to 2.0.9

After upgrading to 2.0.9 I'm not anymore able to insert citations from OpenOffice. The first time I click on the intert citation button nothing happens, the second time I click the focus switches to Firefox but the citation window does not open.
Zotero does not log any errors, only in the console log the following entry appears:

14.10.10 14:35:37 [0x0-0x51051].org.mozilla.firefox[1242] zotero(3): Integration: Request already in progress; not executing OpenOffice addCitation

I have installed the Zotero OpenOffice Integration 3.0a8, PythonExt 2.6.2.20100203 in Firefox 3.6.10 running on a Mac OS-X 10.6.4

Any Ideas?

    I've found the culprit. It was not the new Zotero version but the new java version that came with the current apple java developer tools (10.6_java_developer_10m3239a.dmg). Somehow they broke the commmunication between OpenOffice and Firefox.
    After reverting to the old java version everything works fine again.
