Zotero 2.0.8 "database upgrade error" ID#: D1905071855

My Zotero was working fine until recently and now has a yellow exclamation mark over the toolbar. When I click on it (to open the Zotero pane), I get a message saying "Database upgrade error." I've tried doing the database repair tool, deleting the compreg.dat and xpti.dat in my Firefox Profile folder, and messing with permissions, all to no avail.

I created a new account to post this, since I couldn't figure out how to change the name I post under.

  • Thanks, I actually ended up creating a new profile and that fixed things. For now it'll have to do, but I hope to get it resolved on my default profile. I have a paper due, so I needed to do something drastic.
