NetLibrary with EZProxy Single Sign On
I'm setting up NetLibrary access for my institution and using EZProxy Single Sign On as the authentication method (http://www.oclc.org/us/en/support/documentation/ezproxy/db/netlibrary.htm).
When logging in to NetLibrary for the first time via EZProxy, I'm prompted by Zotero to add the proxy server to Zotero's list of proxies. If I go ahead and add the proxy, the NetLibrary website displays an error saying:
"A problem has occurred while processing your request. The problem has been logged so that it can be corrected. We apologize for the inconvenience."
Furthermore, future attempts to access NetLibrary result in Firefox displaying a "The connection was reset" error.
Turning off the "Automatically remember proxied resources" option and clearing out the configured proxies prevents these errors.
