PDF management
I am wondering if in the future zotero would:
a) be able to organize pdf ebooks (by collecting also cover of books, amazon comments, etc) like many programs already do (Book label, allmybooks, etc);
b) allow with Ctrl Drag just to make a link to the PDF file, leaving the file where it is and just collecting the file address (I know there is a right button command);
c) be able to customize the "Rename File with Parent metadata feature" (for instance by allowing to add ISBN, to today author-date-title). I found the about:config, but I was told that there are no other useful letter variables I could use.
d) be able to access and modify the typical PDF own metadata, that can be found within properties.
Thank you.

Short answer is probably yes to b-d, though likely not anytime soon. Probably no to a), though maybe could be done by a 3rd party plugin.

here is a list of plugins:

Splitting the issues around makes sense - while all somewhat related to pdfs, their solutions are completely independent of each other.
a) has only been requested once or twice - maybe if you search for book cover or e-books you'll find some discussion on that.
