Exception to Proxies
From time to time the Zotero auto-proxy feature will fail, and I'd like some quick, one-time way to turn that functionality off, so I can just access the base URL.
For example, sometime I will try to open an abstract in an e-journal my library doesn't subscribe to, but Zotero will recognise the publisher's URL and automatically insert the proxy address string to enable automatic access through my library.
At present, the only way to access the abstract page directly is to delete the Zotero proxy entry altogether, and then add it back in later.

dstillmanThis is possible in Zotero 2.1, which is in beta.

cbuddenhagenI would like to stop my university library proxy working for access to the http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genbank/. Can I add an exception so it doesn't use the default proxy?

adamsmithyou can access all the proxied sites that Zotero auto-recognizes by clicking on the "Multi-site" line in the proxy tab of the Zotero preferences. You should be able to find and remove pubmed (or pubmed's genbank) there. You can't enter exceptions, though, no.
