Zotero not quite working with Word 2010 on Win7

It's all good until I try to use the toolbar - get NO result, no citation added and no error message. It just sits there, smiling stupidly back at me, as if I had not done a thing...

Plugin installed into Firefox - OK
Toolbar present in Word - OK
Attempt to use toolbar - FAIL

Zotero.dot is registered on the 'View & manage MS Office Add-ins' panel and the file is present at C:\...\Word\STARTUP\Zotero.dot

    Try temporarily disabling all extensions but Zotero and Zotero WinWord Integration and see if that fixes things.

    Was fun reviewing all my extensions but did not change result - still nothing.
