Unresponsive script error

I am running Firefox 3.5.6 and keep getting an "Unresponsive Script Error":

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
Script: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/zotero.js:1504

I have updated Zotero in Safe Mode as instructed. Does anyone know why I would get this error, and why it says "Chrome"?

You don't need to use Safe Mode, and it has nothing to do with Chrome the browser.

But out of curiosity, what version of Zotero is this?

I followed the instructions from the main page to start Firefox 3.5 in Safe Mode and click Download above to install Zotero 2.0.8.

The message on the front page is unrelated to your issue—the page I linked to explains it—but upgrading to the latest version of Firefox might have helped.
