size of files

Hi,
I attained the limit of the syncing storage capacity and would like to know how to find files and sort them according to their size so that I could delete some files that are just too large ?
Are orphaned files stored via syncing ?
Are deleted files stored via syncing ? ('just to make sure that they are not).

You're referring to Zotero File Storage?

Neither orphaned files nor deleted files (assuming you've emptied the trash) are synced.

To find large files, you can use your OS's search features to do a search (including subfolders) for all files within the 'storage' directory in your Zotero data directory, and then sort the list by file size. If you find large files you want to delete, you'll want to then go and find that file in Zotero and delete it from there (by searching for the filename or the title) rather than just deleting it from the OS.

For Zotero File Storage, as soon as you delete an attachment item (and empty the trash) and sync, you should see a reduction in your storage usage.
