Bold and Italics in APA 6/ word 2007 citations

Using Word2007 on Vista; Firefox 3.6.8; Zotero 2.0.3.

All of my in-text citations are now formatted bold and italic. I suspect the problem has to do with a setting in Word, but haven't found anything.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
