Primo Version 3 (Aleph)
Our library recently upgraded from Primo version 2 to Primo version 3 (interfaces based on our Aleph catalog).
Somewhere in the transition we lost the ability to have Zotero function with our catalog. I am having to recommend that patrons use our "classic" catalog.

If you know of any other libraries using Primo v 3 please post links here. The more versions of an implementation the better we can test the translator and the more likely the translator will be tackled in short order.

There has been some progress, so you may want to try the two test translators attached to that ticket. Your feedback is welcome.
I would be happy to help try the test translators. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to figure out where I would import the javascript file into my Zotero to see how it preformed.
I know there has to be a help file for doing that somewhere but I cannot for the life of me find it.
Guidance would be appreciated
If you run into a catalog that doesn't work at all or that has major issues with the translator, please let me know. For that matter, post if everything works well also. It would be nice to put something out there.
The articles tab has a "send to" button that will connect to (amoung other things refworks, endnote, e-mail, connotea).
If I wanted to give Primo feedback, would pushing for a generic RIS export option be the best way to go?
Would Zotero be able to connect to that - or would there be some other underlying system that would be easier for it to work with?
There seems to be a generic RIS option in all Primo installations, and I looked into connecting to it. Since it's the same thing as Endnote (and probably Refworks) uses, keeping the RIS clean ought to be a priority for the Primo developers. But I ran into serious issues with some catalogs-- I'll try again, I suppose.
You can see the "articles" search. As a non-ut user your best bet is to chance the "search scope" to "health". That way it will function for anyone (all you will get is results from pubmed).

The comment about articles seems to be about the fact that Primo doesn't provide its proprietary PNX representation for articles, only (bad) RIS.

Apologies for the continued breakage in the meantime.
Now that the folder appears in Primo, it also appears in the Primo article search, but since article search does not actually work with Primo article searching this brings up a translator error message that can be confusing to newer users.

I do not know if it is possible to tell Zotero the difference between article and catalog searches (and thus not make the folder appear and avoiding the confusion).
I would also be happy to contact Primo to give them feedback on anything they could do to make the data in the article search readable by Zotero so it could work (even better, if possible).
I do not see a translator error message. When I click on the little folder it seems to add the citation. But when I view the citation in Zotero, it is blank.
I strongly suspect the error is caused by the fact that Primo is not exposing PNX records for articles. The translator is based on PNX records.
Could developers comment on whether there is another way to do a translation on the article records in Primo? I too would be happy to share any feedback with ExLibris.

Another problem we are having is that in the Catalog tab, which DOES work with zotero, it's truncating the call number. Can that be fixed?

We have another issue here: it seems that the translator is perfectly working when the title of the brief record is an HTML link (a href=).
Unfortunately, the link only appear for e-resources on our site.
Is there any chance for the translator to be adapted for both type of sites (link / no link on title)?
The second one is related to all Primo sites that are not providing a link on the title in the brief list. I cannot provide any URL yet since our site is in the final implementation stage, but you can check many Primo installation, for instance Paris Dauphine University:

Zotero translator is not working since there are no links on the title in brief list.
If you try the same search at Nice University, you'll notice Zotero is capable to extract the records because of the link on the title:
