Incorrect Reference Format for More Than 7 Authors - APA 6th Ed.

I recently referenced an article with 9 authors. The reference was formatted like this:

Alpert, J. E., Maddocks, A., Nierenberg, A. A., O'Sullivan, R., Pava, J. A., Worthington, J. J., Biederman, J., et al. (1996). Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in childhood among adults with major depression. Psychiatry Research, 62(3), 213-219. doi:10.1016/0165-1781(96)02912-5

According to American Psychological Association 6th Edition, pg 198, example 2, the format for the authors names should be:

Alpert, J. E., Maddocks, A., Nierenberg, A. A., O'Sullivan, R., Pava, J. A., Worthington, J. J., . . . Fava, M. (1996). Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in childhood among adults with major depression. Psychiatry Research, 62(3), 213-219. doi:10.1016/0165-1781(96)02912-5

Is this something that I can fix or is it a bug that needs to be fixed in a future release?

Thank you in advance for your help.

we're aware of this, but Zotero can currently not handle this type of author display correctly. So I'd call it a limitation rather than a bug, but regardless of the semantics there is nothing you can do to fix it.
