Zotero does not sync, error id 616209798

When I try to sync my Zotero database, the sync is interrupted and I come across this error message: "sync.zotero.org : server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555"

I think it is the same problem as user 'pkpark' has in this thread: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/13678/zotero-not-syncing/#Item_11 .

I have tried to sync several times, I have also tried to reset the sync history, but no results.

Is this a Zotero error? The thread above implies that is might be a Firefox problem. Is there a solution for this problem?
  • As I told pkpark in that thread, the CVE error is irrelevant.

    Restart your computer, disable security software, and/or try from a different network if this is a laptop.
