Document versioning - collaborative authoring
I am working with a group that has been sharing the writing of a report. We are used to tools which warn us when someone already has a document open for editing, which Zotero does not do. We think we've figured out how it works, but I would like to be sure that we can't get into a situation where 2 people are both editing and the one who saves later overwrites changes made by the one who saved the document first.
Can someone describe how synchronization works, or direct me to where the process is covered? Many thanks.

Why don't you just test it? Seems pretty straightforward and probably takes less time than the back and forth required to get at exactly what you mean/need etc.
