Firefox is not working...can I uninstall it? Zotero still working?

I dont know what exactly happened, but my firefox is not running anymore...so I would like to uninstall it and then install it again...can I do it without losing my zotero database..?
After having installed firefox again, I have to install zotero again, right?

    your Zotero database is by default saved in your Firefox profile

    you should make a copy of that database (i.e. the entire Zotero folder, containing the zotero.sqlite file, the "Storage" folder and some other things) and put it in a safe place before uninstalling Firefox.
    You can then re-install Firefox, re-install Zotero (yes, that'll be necessary) and then follow the instructions on restoring your library from a back-up.
