Zotero and FireFox 3.6.1 and OpenOffice plugin
Hi all,
I have been struggling with trying to get Zotero working again after upgarding to OpenOffice 3 and FireFoc 3.6.1 but finally tonight found the solution. :-)
I found I did not have the "Java Embedding" plugin within FireFox enabled and this was causing the dreaded “Firefox could not load the component required to communicate with your word processor.” error.
I followed the guidance here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/using+the+Java+plugin+with+Firefox and everything works again now!
:-)
Just thought I'd post it here for others to find and perhaps it is worth worth adding to the http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting?do=show page in the OpenOffice component loading error section?
