problems with synchronizing the library

Hi,

this is the first time I would like to synchronize the library;
I got the following error:

What does this mean?
Can you help me?

    It means there's a problem with your network. 504 is a "Gateway Timeout" error, and it's not something the Zotero server ever returns—it'd have to come from a proxy server or similar.
