Mac Air 2022 M2: Command + A opening Zotero?

I am not very tech savvy apologies in advance - I recently started working with Zotero through the Chrome extension. Now every time I press "Command + A" (my favorite shortcut since it does Select All) it opens Zotero and saves whatever page I am working on to my library.

I went into the Advanced shortcuts section on the desktop app and all of the shortcuts are "Command + Shift + ___" which isn't my problem. Has anyone run into this before and have any advice? It's driving me crazy!

    Nothing to do with the desktop app itself. It sounds like you set Cmd-A as a shortcut for the Zotero Connector's save action. Go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts in the address bar and reset it.

    (And that wouldn't "open Zotero". It could just trigger saving from the Zotero Connector, which goes to the Zotero app if it's already open.)
